Couples Intensives

After more than ten years working with the usual one hour a week model, I came accross ble bla that revolutionized results in couples therapy.

How is an intensive different and why is so effective?

Some of the benefit of doing an intensive versus coming for an hour once a week sessions that it's an structured immersive experience  where you get a lot more traction and momentum. The two days are fully  focused, with no distractions and provide hope and clarity in a way that you might take several months to achieve with the weekely model. In weekely model, often the session needs to stop when you start to move ahead

There is no change when you are triggering each other

  • Are you ready to reconnect with your partner?

  • To become friends again?

  • To understand what happened to your relationship that got you to this point?

  • Do you want to learn new tools to navigate life's turmoils together?

  • Do you want to learn to communicate effectively and more lovingly?

  • Have you become a person you don't like when you are with your partner?

  • Has your partner become a person you don't like and you don't understand why?

  • Have you or your partner had an affair?

  • Have you lived through a life setback (a loss, a change, an illness) and want to feel supported?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you are in the right place. Studies show that couples wait an average of six year of disconnection before searching for help , but the more you wait, the harder the work becomes.

I will ask you to take a look to your own contributions to the problem, to the unhealthy dynamics or patterns you two have, the kind of partner you want to be and the kind of relationship you want to have, and I will help you get there.

 How does it work?

First we would have an initial consultation via Zoom where we meet and see if we are a good fit. I will ask you what is going on in your relationship
